  2. Company, identity and authority reviewReview corporate existence, authorised contact, ownership information and the right to act or represent another party.
  3. Commercial requirement alignmentClarify product specification, quantity, destination, Incoterm, timing, payment preference and practical capability.
  4. Controlled introduction and negotiationProgress suitable discussions through identified decision-makers and controlled communication channels.
  5. Documentation and transaction coordinationCoordinate agreed documents, responsibilities, milestones, professional inputs and close-out records.

Detailed internal methodology

Detailed review is applied where proportionate and may include the following:

Corporate and ownership review

Company registration, authorised representatives, beneficial ownership and consistency of corporate information.

Authority and mandate review

Letters of authority, mandate agreements, signatory status, validity, scope and the represented party.

Risk-awareness checks

Sanctions, politically exposed person considerations, adverse media and jurisdictional concerns.

Commercial capability

Buyer purchasing, import or storage capability and seller source, export, logistics and product capability.

Document consistency

Names, dates, specifications, volumes, ports, terms, signatories and authority are checked for material inconsistency.

Internal decision

The engagement may be approved to progress, held pending further information or declined.
